John Morgan

Executive Chairman,

John’s 35 year career spans the asset management, management consulting, corporate finance and chartered accounting industries. In this time he has developed a significant capability in the assessment of and investing in a broad range of asset classes and investment structures across many industries.
Since 2010, John has been Chief Investment Officer for the CTE Investments Funds.  Prior to this, John managed his own corporate finance and strategy consultancy for 10 years and spent fifteen years working in management consulting, corporate finance and chartered accounting.
John holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Masters of Business Administration (Distinction) from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He has post graduate qualifications in the Professional Year program and Financial Planning from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia as well as the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mike Cowin

Mike has more than 20 years investment industry experience and currently manages the Cowin Family Office investment portfolio.
From 2007 – 2017, Mike was a Director of Northcape Capital, where he was Portfolio manager of a $1B small and mid-cap Australian equity strategies.
Prior to this, Mike was a senior portfolio manager responsible for the AMP small and mid-cap products; the portfolio manager for the UBS Small Companies Fund; and Head of Research and Deputy Portfolio Manager for the UBS Australian Share Fund.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours) and a Masters of Business Administration (Distinction) from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Daron Evans

Daron is a seasoned executive and investor. He currently runs PoC Capital, LLC, a family office founded in 2015, and serves as an operationally-active Director at Specialty Renal Products, Inc., a commercial stage medical device company, and AlloRock, Inc., a development stage biotechnology company.
Previously, Daron was Chief Executive Officer at Nephros, Inc ($NEPH), a medical device company from 2015-2020, and Chief Financial Officer of Nile Therapeutics, Inc. ($NLTX), a biotechnology company from 2007-2013.
Daron holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from a joint program at the University of Texas at Arlington and Southwestern Medical School and a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Myles Baron-Hay

Myles has a diverse background with senior management experience in commercial construction and sports administration industries as well as 16 years experience in the funds management industry.
Since 2009 Myles has managed the Baron-Hay Family Office. His role includes a number of private equity businesses.
Prior to this Myles was the Chief Executive of the Sydney Swans for 7 years and held senior management roles in both retail and institutional asset management businesses based in New Zealand and Australia with responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region including Head of BT New Zealand.
Myles graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Western Australia and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
